5972 Olton Hall

The picture below shows 5972 Olton Hall approaching Didcot Parkway's platform 5 from the north with the Fantasy Express on 24th November.

Above: A crowd gathers round 5972 as it comes to rest at Didcot Parkway.

Below, left: Old meets new as a Virgin Voyager passes. Right: 5972 waits for the signal.

The locomotive then uncoupled from its train and ran into Didcot Railway Centre for servicing.
