27th September 2007 Today we decided to go a couple of miles along the line to photograph the departure from Antonito and then try to get to the Chama to Cumbres section to photograph the train from Chama at a level crossing. In the event we were a few moments too late but did photograph the train just after it passed the crossing from a distance. We then photographed the ballast train in a few different locations before heading off to do other things such as birdwatching in the alpine valleys - very rewarding.
