We returned to Ohua the next day and booked a ride on the train from the station which has the name board KawaKawa. The train runs down the middle of the main street in Ohua which is a popular tourist destination but at the time of our visit the steam loco was undergoing an overhaul so a small diesel was used. On operating days several trips a day are run according to demand.
